Caring For The Skin While on Chemotherapy or Radiation Treatment
Skin care for anyone going through chemotherapy or radiation treatment, is
sometimes a daunting task. The physcians' number one priority (as it should be), is caring and beating the cancer enemy. Chemotherapy and radiation treatment causes the skin to become dry, can cause cancer induced acne, and hyperpigmentation may occur. We will instruct our clients as to what the correct skin care regimen might be:

Skin care is not a one size fits all! Every facial or skincare treatment should be customized just you!!!

This course is only to provide licensed aestheticians and nurses education on how to perform safe superficial cosmetic skin care services. The course will recommend beneficial cosmetic products for clients and patients that have superficial skin conditions. Those may include mild epidermal dehydration, dryness etc. This is for oncology patients who visit a skin care center or day spa. This course is in no way a substitute for medical treatment, or gives the student the authority or permission to diagnose or treat skin conditions, reactions, diseases or wounds associated with these medical conditions.
